Rather than repeat what the other reviewers have said, I’d like to offer you some scientific facts on the effects of the Olive Leaf Extract contained in these supplements. This is all from proper, peer reviewed academic study. Some are beneficial and some aren’t so much, some I don’t see the relevance of but feel it’s worth including.
– Reduces blood pressure
– Reduces oxidation of LDL (bad cholesterol)
– Increases HDL-C (good cholesterol)
– Reduces total cholesterol
– Reduces cell adhesion factors (nope, beats me too!)
– Reduces potential DNA damage
– Increases enzyme anti-oxidants
– Reduces blood glucose
– Reduces general oxidation
– Reduces HbA1c
– Increases IGF binding protein
– Decreases insulin
– Increases insulin sensitivity
– Reduces lipid peroxidation
– Reduces carbohydrate absorption
As with all supplements, it’s difficult to be subjective and hypothesize that a particular aspect of my life is significantly improved due to taking these. This product has orders of magnitudes of science backing it’s benefits compared to most competitors, and they’re much more reasonably priced. I’m confident I’ll be better off with them than without. Should I notice any side effects or change my consumption for any reason, I’ll be sure to update my review.
